Meanwhile, Yoshizos sister, Chiyo, harbored a desire for revenge against the swordsman and accused him of suspicion. Coupled with the fact that the notorious criminal family, led by Kōdē no Jō, was currently on the run, the villagers started suspecting their involvement.
